Our mares can be seen grazing in the summer sunshine above. We have chosen mares
with correct confirmation, action and temperament. Some are champions in their own
right. A few were purchased as yearlings and a bond and trust has developed over
the years -
Our covering policy is to run our stallions out with our mares. We tried this last year for the first time. Putting an experienced broodmare and a maiden out with a young stallion proved so successful. We decided following this experience that we would take this a step further and will now introduce our young stallion to the group of mares in 2008. This has been a big decision, so that no mare has a foal at foot for 2008 we have not covered any of our mares in 2007.
