We have many years experience with ponies and horses but seriously started our own Welsh Pony stud ten years ago. The stud foundation mare is Linksbury Nakita (opposite). We have added over the years mares with breed lines from Jananda, Lemonshill, Bradmore, Millcroft, Cottrell, Downland and Rotherwood.
We have an exciting few years ahead of us as we introduce our young stallion Anri Opera to our group of mares. He is a fabulous palomino by Eyarth Tacoma out of Lemonshill Charm.
He has the most amazing temperament, ideal for the sire of children’s ponies. These breed lines coming together should produce outstanding offspring.
Well here he is Leigh Holt Mathwyn otherwise known as Magic. He started our love of the welsh breeds. Bought for our daughter’s fourth birthday, he is still with us twenty one years later. A winner of lead rein and first ridden classes. He took part in all pony club activities and always liked to show what a cheeky fellow he could be! Even though retired he still has the welsh character that drew us to him originally.
