The stallions on the right are either sires of our stock or grandsires. Stallion choice is so important, but the mare must be good quality for the pairing to work well.
Anri Opera
Welsh Section B
Introducing our new young palomino stallion. He has fabulous breeding and a temperament to die for. He has such natural presence and movement that your eye is drawn to him immediately. Unshown as yet, we are aiming to start him off in the winter shows. Following this he will be turned out in the spring with our mares .Sorry not at public stud yet.
Following several years of using other stud’s stallions and the in hand method of covering we decided last year to embark on a more natural covering method. We turned out an experienced broodmare and a maiden mare with a newly licensed stallion. The result was so successful, no stress was shown at any time by any equine, just the observers at the initial stage! The small group functioned superbly . We now have a policy of natural covering, hopefully our mares and stallions will thrive on this.
